Masoud Rasti

Mr. Rasti is the Branch Chief for Transformation and Engineering Services and Program Manager for the Integrated Training Platform. The branch provides valuable resources in the transformation of learning services though technical assessments, resources requirements/management and system architecture within the division.
Mr. Rasti has served in the AETC/A3/6 Directorate of Operations and Communications, as strategy and technical advisor to the Deputy Director for Force Development for Force Development/Continuum of Learning since September 2018.
Mr. Rasti led a branch in support of the AETC Directorate of Operations (A3), Training Technology Division along with the AETC Directorate of Plans and Programs, and Requirements Directorate.  His team provided technical expertise in engineering research, oversaw existing technology standards, and provided advisement for new/emerging standards for advanced training devices.  
Also, Mr. Rasti has served as Chief, Technology Integration Branch for AETC. He has extensive experience in Modeling and Simulation, Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), Software and Hardware Engineering, and Logistics and Acquisition Management.
In 2005, Mr. Rasti was the sole person selected by the AETC Vice Commander to attend the notable Executive Leadership Development Program in the Office of Secretary of Defense.
Mr. Rasti began his civil service career in 1985.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering as well as a Master’s degree in Acquisition Management.  He is currently working on his Ph.D in Engineering Management and has completed over 900 hours of DoD professional and technical development training.  Mr. Rasti is fluent in Farsi and Dari.  He is also proficient in speaking and reading in Arabic.
