Leadership

Lt Col HIEN V. NGUYEN

Lt Col Hien Vinh Nguyen is Associate Deputy, Learning Services Division, Directorate of Operations and Communications, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio, Randolph TX. He leads the research and analysis of the Learning Services portfolio in alignment with AETC’s strategic vision.   
 
Lt Col Nguyen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and entered the Air Force on June 2003 through the ROTC program. He served over 12 years on Active Duty and is currently an Active Guard Reserve (AGR). His assignments included numerous operational and joint positions as an Operations Research Analyst, Acquisition Officer, and Training Instructor. Prior to his current position, he was an Associate Professor at the University of Texas at Austin.
