ITP was awarded a Three-year ATO effective 30 May 2024

The Integrated Technology Platform establishes the “Next” generation of AR/VR/MR training. ITP explores new technologies & methodologies to define how they can integrate with curricula to support future-focused learning for Airmen across all MAJCOMs.

ITP provides access to realistic 3D virtualized aircraft when access to mission aircraft are not available, increase the effectiveness of operational and maintenance training, and reduce the cost of training while increasing the skills and improving knowledge retention of our Airmen.

ITP is a multi-command partnership in an effort to save cost, reduce waste, expedite training, and allow personnel to and expand their network and reach.

ITP enhances learning in the classroom and in other environments where Airmen execute the mission.

The “Virtual Hangar” contains comprehensive Instructor tools and student-led Learning Modules.

Each Learning Module is custom built to meet specific training requirements, ranging from checklist execution to 3D-modeled schematic overlays.

XR modules support requirements for 22 aircraft (and counting!) worldwide. ITP is currently deployed at 44 bases, and continues to grow!

AC-130J Remove/Install Flight Deck Window

XR modules support requirements for 31 aircraft and 9 ground vehicles worldwide. ITP is currently deployed at 135 bases worldwide and supports 31K students a year.

AC-130J Capture

The ITP team will travel to Cannon AFB, NM 27-31 January to conduct the capture of the assembly, disassembly and inspection of the GBU-12, GBU-31, GBU-38, GBU-49 and GBU-54 munitions tasks on the AC-130J for the development of learning modules for desktop VR, Focus Vision VR and Samsung tablets.

JB - McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Demo Trip

The ITP team and Mass Virtual will be at JB-MDL 14-16 January to provide demos and briefs to leaders of the Expeditionary Center, 305 AMW, 87 ABW and Contingency Response Wing.

AETC Demos

ITP, with the support of Mass Virtual will host AETC A3G Division members on Monday, 3 February for capabilities briefs and demos.

JBLM Demo Trip

Aerial Port leadership at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA have requested the ITP PMO provide demos and briefs to members of the Aerial Port squadron. Demo is scheduled for 5-7 February 2025.

Logistics Officer Association Symposium 2025

The 2025 Logistics Officer Association Symposium will be held in Oklahoma City, OK 18-21 March 2025. The annual symposium brings together military officers and civilians in the logistics, acquisition and technology fields around the globe. This year's event will enable interactive exchanges among logistics, acquisition and technology professionals from across the Department of Defense, defense industry and academia.

KC-135R Capture Trip
The ITP team will travel to Scott AFB, IL, 1-5 April to conduct the capture of KC-135R Avionics learning modules.

C-17 Capture Trip
The ITP team will travel to Charleston AFB, SC, 1-5 April to conduct the capture of C-17 Avionics learning modules.

F-15C Capture Trip
The ITP team will travel to Jacksonville ANG Base, FL, 8-12 April to conduct the capture of F-15C Avionics learning modules.

DAF M&S Summit
The ITP team will be attending the DAF Modeling and Simulation Summit, San Antonio, TX 7-9 May.

AETC ATO for Network/DAF Learning Integration
The ITP, members of the DAF Learning team and HQ AETC/A6 are working with MVI (under contract) to develop milestones and a way-head to obtain ATO approval for all AETC and their MAJCOM partners (via agreement) to include the ability to integrate ITP training technology, establish content management and provide a delivery system via a commercial ISP or AFNET. This process is on-going the team will provide leadership updates as the team works through this approval process. (In-Work)

Introduction
This Integrated Technology Platform (ITP) User’s Guide is to help users understand and utilize the centralized/decentralized ordering process. The AFSC/PZIE-R Enterprise Acquisition Branch has overall contractual responsibility for contract FA8501-20-D-0002 as the Primary Procuring Contracting Office (PPCO). The AFSC/PZIE-R Program Office (PO) is the organization responsible for centralized program management and oversight of the basic contract. Funding sources will vary; however, the most common form of funding is 3400 (Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
Key Personnel and Responsibilities
Program Management Office (PMO) Responsibilities: The PMO is the sole source of entry for any requirements for this contract and tracks order award values for ceiling monitoring. The PMO is responsible for scope reviews for all orders for this contract. The PMO will work with Contractor and Contracting Office to ensure your requirement is met. Program Manager: Masoud Rasti, HQ AETC A3/6 Force Development Acquisition Lead: Richard Robledo, HQ AETC A3/6 Force Development Email: aetc.a36.itp@us.af.mil Primary Procuring Contracting Officer (PPCO) Responsibilities: The PPCO shall perform all necessary actions for overall contract administration to ensure compliance with the basic contract terms. The PPCO is the only person authorized to issue modifications to change the basic contract. This individual resides within the Enterprise Acquisition Branch at Robins AFB (AFSC/PZIE-R). Ordering Contracting Officer (OCO) Responsibilities: The OCO is the individual responsible for awarding decentralized task/delivery orders. The OCO will also provide advance notice to the PMO Office of any order modifications and PPCO of any needed modifications to the basic contract. The individual OCO shall be a warranted contracting officer authorized to place orders against the ITP IDIQ basic contract. Authorized OCOs are designated by location and/or requirement. This individual resides within or is assigned to the organization that owns the requirement.
Authorizations
Any organization wanting to use this contract must obtain prior authorization from the PMO. The authorization requires a memorandum of understanding signed by commander. As part of the ITP IDIQ ordering process, the PMO will perform a review of every potential requirement to verify that each effort is an essential effort. Only requirements determined by the PMO to be “in-scope” with the ITP IDIQ Product Description (PD) can be acquired under this contract.
Instructions for orders issued by the Primary Procuring Contracting Officer (PPCO)
The PPCO’s buying office will only issue orders for program offices that do not have a contracting office that cannot support its program needs. If this situation exists, the requiring activity will submit all requirements through the PMO for review. No organization will contact the PPCO, unless a control number has been issued to the organization. The PMO will work with the contractor to obtain any Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) on behalf of the requester as necessary. The requesting organization shall not contact the contractor, unless given authorization by the PMO. The PMO will verify with PPCO that the requirement is included in the basic contract.
Instructions for orders issued by the Ordering Contracting Officer (OCO)
The requiring activity must coordinate all requirements for purchase through the PMO. Once the PMO has coordinated with the PPCO, PMO will issue a control number for purchase order. The OCO can then proceed with the task/delivery order. The OCO is responsible for the negotiation of the price (unless firm fixed price), generating the price negotiation memorandum, contract file preparation, contracting policy office/legal coordination’s, and any other coordination’s with internal and external support organizations. Firm dates should be negotiated and included in the task/delivery order. The requiring organization prepares and processes a funded PR package via the Purchase Request Process System (PRPS) or Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS).
Distribution of order / Modifications
In addition to Electronic Document Access (EDA), the OCO shall provide a copy of the task/delivery order and any subsequent modifications to the PMO (Attachment 6-Contract Award Notification). OCOs must include Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) instructions for each order submitted to ensure contractor(s) has the required and accurate information to invoice properly. Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS)
The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for each individual task/delivery order placed against the ITP/IDIQ Contract has the responsibility of completing the required CPAR IAW FAR 42.1502. Scan Aircraft
ITP has many aircraft already scanned for virtual reality training. . If your platform is not available then a ROM is created and purchased. Our vendor will coordinate a time to scan the aircraft when it and subject matter experts are available. The process for scanning new aircraft platforms normally takes 3-4 days. Training Module Development
ITP has hundred of training modules created and ready for your use. If you require a new training module, our vendor will work with your subject matter experts to create a new story board. Once the story board is approved, it will be converted into the virtual reality environment and reviewed and approved by the SME’s. Once approved it will be available for students to use within the Virtual Hanger classroom. To start the training module process, please contact the PMO at aetc.a36.itp@us.af.mil
Content Delivery
ITP uses the Virtual Hanger platform to deliver your VR training. Virtual Hanger consist of a physical environment with enough space for students to move around (4sq feet per student at minimum), VR workstations, goggles, and controllers. These are currently hardwired by trussells between the student and workstations. Modifications to hardware items will be available when technology improves.
